For over 25 years Nicole Fox has been practicing Landscape Architecture.  She started her career in New York City designing in Central Park on variety of projects throughout the park’s 843 acres.  In 1995 she moved to the Bay Area and began working for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy on sites in San Francisco and Marin Counties such as Crissy Field, Fort Baker, and Alcatraz.  Currently she works out of Belmont focusing on urban and residential design.

Whether she is designing in a large park environment or a small back yard, she maintains the philosophy of finding the “genius loci” – the spirit of the space.  It is what gives a place its atmosphere and vitality. Her greatest achievement for all her projects is to create spaces for people that are practical, well designed, and beautiful.
